In Hannah’s own words:

“Meeting with the family selection committee is the last part of your application to HPBC. Made up of volunteers, HPBC trustees and existing home partners, the family selection committee visit with prospective home partner(s). It's an informal meeting, we have a set list of questions we ask everyone - nothing too hard, we just check that you understand the scheme and the commitment required, and try and get to know the people hoping to move into a HPBC home.

It's likely that at least one of the family selection committee will be an existing home partner, so it's a great opportunity for you to ask us about what it's like to take part in the project and any final questions you have before all three parts of your application go to the board of trustees for consideration.

I enjoy my role of the family selection committee, meeting with people looking to become home partners. As a home partner myself I remember what it was like to be on that side of the process and hope that our meetings are as helpful for applicants as they are for us.”
